New Pilot Gear Options
Whether you’re new to the sport, or a seasoned pilot, purchasing a wing can be a confusing, or challenging task as there are many things
to consider. I have narrowed it down to the most popular beginner items that you’ll need.
Step 1: Choose a wing
Below are the top 3 wings most students purchase. There are minor differences between them, but overall, they are equally great wings and perfect for beginners.
Ozone Roadster3 $4000
The Roadster 3 is designed for pilots of all abilities, from newly qualified to advanced. It is a dedicated paramotor wing with a full reflex profile. On the ground the inflation is smooth and constant in any wind speed, with a gentle and consistent rise without shooting or lagging behind, even with the trimmers set to the slow position.
BGD Magic $3650
Scoring top marks for safety, the Magic Motor is EN-A and DGAC certified for free-flight and paramotoring. A low-stress wing it’s simple to launch and very roll stable. Its intuitive handling, fun-factor and performance mean it’s ready when you are to expand your boundaries, head off cross-country and explore the world.
ITV Baja $3750
The Baja has been designed to give you maximum pleasure in all phases of flight. From takeoff to landing, everything has been carefully thought out so that you can fully enjoy your practice
Step 2: Choose a Harness

A simple and uncluttered harness for ground handling, teaching or soaring flights. ABS control, and enough adjustment to fit all but the largest and very smallest of pilots. Strong, lightweight and durable. The classic starter harness.
Ozone Oxygen 1 $390
Comfort, Ground handling and free flight
The Oxygen1 Harness was designed with comfort in mind. Comfort while flying, and also while hiking. At just 1.3kg, it is light for a harness and bag combination, but features generously padded leg and back support, full adjustments, and a comfortably sized storage compartment.
